Another great studio shoot with Russell and Melissa and their son Lucas. Great fun trying to capture Lucas as he shot around the studio! Lots of giggles and fun with Mum & Dad as we got some great family shots for them to treasure.

Tanya is an old school friend of mine who I hadn't seen for 18 years, but that didn't stop it being one of the most easy and relaxed weddings I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Set on a secluded beach in Noosa, QLD, Tanya & Chris tied the knot accompanied by a few of their nearest and dearest and their beautiful 1 year old Matilda. A river cruise followed to top the day off. It was a beautiful event, and an honour to photograph for two such lovely people.

Kathryn & Michael got married in beautiful church ceremony in July at North Sydney, followed by an intimate reception at La Grillade at Crow's Nest in Sydney. Their vintage style made the day so special, and it was a pleasure capturing their beautiful day.

Flowers everywhere! I embarked on some photography of a different nature for my sister company Indigo Sage in April of 2011. I visited the beautiful Mount Penang gardens near Gosford and a few of my own back yard! Macro photography can reveal some amazing details in nature, and some of these images are my favourite to ever come from my camera! Sam came a long to Brodie's photo shoot and ended up having one herself! We had a great time and once again the trusty Jaime Sherrah was on hand to provide hair and make up.

Brodie came to JRP's home studio for a photo shoot recently, bringing with her best friend Sam for support!

Alayna and her lovely twin girls, Jesinta and Izabelle came to me for a family shoot last weekend. Again the ever capable Jaime Sherrah was on hand for hair and make up and the girls were great while we captured their lively personalities on camera!

The wonderful Catherine was a willing model for another of our portfolio shoots. Jaime Sherrah on hair and make up, and Kim a capable assistant, we embarked on an early evening shoot at The Entrance Ocean Pools. I must say the dedication of the whole team was outstanding, and determined to get the perfect shots, Catherine, Jaime and I all ended up at least waist deep in fairly cold water to achieve these beautiful results! Having worked with Loren for a couple of years, it was a pleasure to do some pictures of her and her new little girl Maya at 6 months. What a happy little girl, and she lasted so well, what a professional!

Dimity, Stephen and their gorgeous daughters Cerys and Freya were a delight to photograph. A fun loving family, they completed the photo shoot with ease, and it was more like playtime for the girls! Beautiful pictures were no challenge with this lot! Look forward to photographing them again when the girls are older.

A new year, a new portfolio. Kim has been an assistant photographer for me for the last year, and she is also a great portrait photographer in her own right. Luckily for me, and our resident make up artist Jaime Sherrah of Jaime Sherrah Make Up & Design, she's also a pretty awesome model! We spent the day creating beautiful pictures of her, and this is just a taste of what we achieved. It won't be the last shoot we do of Kim!

I have never come across a couple who were more right for each other than Estelle and John. Perhaps their wisdom and experience all helped to make a magical day for us all, and their wonderful families made it even more special. A beautiful intimate ceremony at their home, followed by a lovely family shoot at the Katandra Reserve set the scene for a lovely dinner with all their closest family and friends at The Willows. A lovely, gentle and generous couple, and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their day.

What a wonderful wedding! The gloriously sunny August day in 2010 set the scene for a fantastic wedding for Kevin and Danielle. We had first met in late 2009, but didn't meet again to start planning for their photography until early 2010. A stunning wedding at the beautiful Church of the Holy Cross in South Kincumber, followed by a detour to Avoca Beach, and then on to a stunning reception at Iguana Joes on the Gosford waterfront. A long, but very satisfying day ensued, with wonderfully fun guests and lots of laughs. Great day, great couple.

In June of 2010 we welcomed an addition to our family. Our beautiful daughter Holly Elizabeth was born at 4am on the 23rd June, and she made our little family complete.
Of course she turned our lives upside down completely, so I took a break from photography for a few months to get used to being a new Mum, but couldn't resist grabbing a few portraits of her at 6 days old.

A new Cat with new hair and a new attitude. Cat had been getting lots more work done to her tattoos and wanted some updated pics to send to a magazine. We worked on some more classic portraits to capture her new look.

Nat and Shane wanted some nice portraits to give to their parents, and then they wanted some that showed their personality! We did the 'normal' part of the shoot, then got on to the fun stuff, Shane with his guitar, Nat's fashion mag replica and then their vampire obsession! Love love love this shoot, how much fun! I added a creepy night sky for dramatic effect and the vampires came alive!

In April 2010 came the small and perfectly formed wedding of Helena and Patrick Murphy. On the day of their tenth anniversary, they tied the knot, accompanied by their two lovely boys at the Boathouse Waterfront Restaurant in Koolewong, a stones throw from their beautiful house, overlooking Brisbane Water. Another glorious day, and a small and intimate lunchtime ceremony made for the perfect wedding to celebrate their long lasting relationship. A lovely couple, and it was a pleasure to be part of their special day.

In March 2010, I photographed the wedding of Dean and Cindy-Lee. They live in WA, so I spoke with Cindy-Lee's mum Glenda several times before the wedding. Glenda had been given the arduous task of organising a wedding for her daughter without her being here! Choosing a venue, decorations, booking flowers and cars, and getting everything on time and perfect for her daughter's big day! Needless to say she was finding it taxing when we first met in early 2010 to visit the venues and discuss what she had managed to arrange for her daughter. I wasn't to meet Cindy-Lee until a week before the wedding! The day went perfectly. Glenda did an amazing job, and the couple said their vows under a beautiful rotunda in a woodland park in Maitland. The day was gloriously hot, and we had great fun photographing the couple and their bridal party at several locations between the wedding and reception. The bright red hot rod wedding car was also a hit! Another wonderful wedding day!

After meeting Lisa Wilson, a Pilates instructor from Erina, we embarked on a journey to re-vamp the look of the company that she runs with her Physiotherapist husband, Andrew. Physioxtra, based in Erina, run a beautiful clinic dedicated to all things Pilates and Physiotherapy.
We did several shoots to capture the clinic and the great work that they do there, and they were left with a multitude of new images for their website and marketing material.

In late 2009 I embarked on my first Australian wedding for a lovely couple, Stuart and Beth. Their wedding was a whirlwind, for them and for me! I was booked only a few weeks before the event, and we had very little time to visit the venues and discuss their requirements for the day's photography. What a lovely couple, so in love, and the misty eyed look that Stuart had every time he looked at his bride to be, was enough for me to say I'd shoot their wedding. The day was glorious, a beautiful November Saturday, and the venue was the amazing Catholic Church at Woy Woy, an impressive building, and a beautiful service.
The tears of joy that showed on Stuart's face as his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle was heart warming, and their wonderful friends and family made the day very special. A beautiful reception followed at the Apollo Resort in Wamberal, and a very happy couple received their photographs the following week. What a lovely day!

Cat is a colourful woman. I first photographed her back in September 2009 and we did a pin up style shoot for an upcoming competition for the Sydney Tattoo Expo the following March. Jaime Sherrah, our much loved make up artist assisted on the shoot, and we produced some lovely shots for Cat.

Our first client was the lovely Kellie at Forresters Beach Resort. We captured their wedding set up for their website and brochures.
